Eastern Gray Squirrels Talking to me Halloween day October 31, 2022

I took a photo journey at Springbrook Park in Alcoa TN on Halloween day October 31, 2022.

We seemed to be having a real good hard mast year in this small city park. Acorns, Walnuts, and Hickories were already on the ground during the 3 days I was here taking pictures with some continuing to fall from the trees.

I saw at least 25 Eastern Gray Squirrels and they posed for pictures and told me what they were doing. I can hear the squirrels as those that know me will understand my powers in Nature. These 2 were sharing the trunk and limbs of this Cyprus tree and seeing what kind of mischief they could get into for Halloween this evening.

In the next nine photos I added some of the conversations between myself and the squirrels as to what these entertaining animals were doing and what they were telling me about the activities of their day which was warm and sunny.

Just study the pictures and see if you can get to know these small grey furry friends of mine!

I hope you enjoyed this time with me and my entertaining friends today. I have been outside almost every day walking the local Greenway trails and Parks nearby learning how to use my recently purchased new Canon Rebel 7 Camera and lens.

Now that the colder weather is starting to arrive in East Tennessee (November 15, 2022), I will be inside writing and adding to Closer to Nature..... with my photographs and of course my Nature information, creative writing, and narratives from my many explorations and all I have seen, heard, and photographed.

I will also get my drawing and sketching notebooks and supplies out so keep checking back in.
